”SEM Observation of an LIB Positive and Negative Electrodes”
 NCM positive electrode (Ni:Co:Mn=5:2:3) used for an automotive LIB was observed at low accelerating voltage. While low magnification BSE image clarifies particle size of the active material and distribution of the conductive additive, high magnification BSE image describes surface structure of the active material and surface distribution of the conductive additive.SE image of a negative electrode shows morphology of the spherical graphite particles at low magnification and scaly graphite structure on the particle surface at high magnification.
