”SEM observation of the parenchyma using Ionic Liquid”
Using ionic liquid as conductive additive, a hydrated sample, plant stem, was observed with SEM in a high vacuum. Ionic liquid thoroughly infiltrated into interior stem to eliminate charging and the morphology of vascular bundle and parenchyma were well maintained.
