Introduction of Application as a Nanoparticle Dispersant Agent
An ionic liquid was applied as a dispersion medium to observe titanium oxide nanoparticles. TiO2 particles were well dispersed with little aggregation and tolerated high magnification imaging without suffering from sample drift. A tilt series was stably acquired and a 3D image was successfully reconstructed.
