“Introduction of polymer surface pretreatment examples with IM4000“
 Polyethylene resin surface was prepared by flat ion milling to etch the amorphous parts. The existence of coarse spherulites was revealed and the lamellar structure radially lined up three-dimensionally. Flat ion milling method etches sample surface to clearly enhances microstructures on the surface.
