|Voltage contrast observation of carbon / polymer composite material
|“Voltage contrast imaging of carbon/polymer composite for fuel cell separator plates”
CNT (carbon nano tube) / PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) composite is a potential material for protective film of separator plates in fuel cells due to the conductivity and corrosion resistance.
CNT/PTFE composite film was observed at 0.2 kV without beam damage. With upper detector, surface morphology was clearly observed. With top detector, CNT and PTFE were identified respectively based on voltage contrast caused by their different conductivity.
