“Visualization of three-dimensional Cu precipitate distribution in Al alloy structure“
 3D distribution of Cu precipitates in Al alloy was analyzed using FIB-SEM. While the SEM image shows scattered precipitates, it gives no depth information. As the 3D data visualized internal structure, it turned out many acicular precipitates with diameter of several hundreds of nanometers and length of several micrometers have same orientation.
