“Cross-section observation of the positive electrode of a lithium ion battery“
 Cross section of LIB (Lithium Ion Battery) positive electrode was prepared by broad ion beam milling. Shape and aggregation state of active materials were observed in BSE image. As shown in EDX maps, current collector and active materials were composed of Al and Co respectively, and carbon-based materials were surrounding active materials.
