“Large Area Imaging and EDX Mapping of the Mineral Thin Section“
 Mineral thin section on a glass slide was analyzed using variable pressure SEM. SEM images and EDX maps of 154 FOVs were automatically acquired for the whole the thin section (3.8 cm x 1.6 cm) without charging issue. The correlated information suggest that the bright particles in the UVD-CL image are zircon.
