”Automated sequential imaging and pore size measurement of a separator”
 345 SEM images of a separator were automatically acquired from multiple FOVs at different magnifications using EM Flow Creator software. The distribution of fibrous regions, the alternating arrangement of fibrous structures and pores, and the surface microstructure were observed at 5 kx, 30 kx and 80 kx respectively. Pore sizes (longer and shorter diameters) were automatically measured using an image processing software, Image-Pro. The aspect ratio of 4 to 6 was found to be the most frequent for the extracted 1,014 pores.
